We’re on a mission to help our customers unlock £100bn of Social Value, and every role within SVP plays a part in making that impact a reality. Our people thrive because they see the direct connection between their work and a greater purpose. Join us and be part of something meaningful.
This is a hands-on IT Manager role where you’ll take ownership of the systems that underpin how our people work every day. You’ll combine strategic oversight with practical delivery, ensuring our technology is secure, reliable and genuinely supports the business as we scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a Marketing Development Representative (MDR) to sit at the heart of our marketing and sales function, owning the first human touchpoint for people who have already shown interest in Social Value Portal.
This is not a cold-calling role. You’ll be working with inbound leads - people who have downloaded content, attended events or actively raised their hand - ensuring they are contacted promptly, thoughtfully and professionally, and booked into discovery calls with the right sales colleagues.
It’s a great opportunity for someone early in their commercial career who enjoys speaking to people, values quality over volume, and wants exposure to both marketing and sales in a fast-growing, purpose-led organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Acting as the first point of contact for inbound leads from marketing campaigns, content and events
Qualifying interest against clear criteria and booking discovery calls into sales diaries
Managing MQL Outreach sequences to ensure timely, relevant follow-up
Keeping CRM data accurate and well-maintained so marketing and sales can work effectively together
Collaborating closely with sales to ensure smooth handovers and shared pipeline goals
Feeding insights back to marketing on lead quality, messaging and campaign performance
Supporting webinar and event follow-up activity
You’ll have ownership of this process, with support from experienced marketing and sales leaders - and the space to develop confidence, autonomy and commercial judgement.
What We’re Looking For
Around 1–2 years’ experience in a related role (MDR, SDR, BDR, Marketing Assistant, Sales Ops or similar)
Someone personable, confident and comfortable engaging people by email, LinkedIn and phone
Strong organisation and attention to detail, particularly when working with CRM systems and sequences
Clear written and verbal communication skills
A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach.io or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is helpful but not essential - we care more about attitude, curiosity and potential.
Your experience as a candidate begins from the moment you apply. This is what you can expect.

We are all responsible for our own actions, behaviours, and performance. Every misstep is an opportunity for learning and growth.
We’re inquisitive, honest and open, understanding that we only deliver our best by working as one team.
We bring our whole selves to work and recognise that our diverse backgrounds make us stronger together.
As leaders in our field, we are adaptable and comfortable with change, always one step ahead of our competition.
We offer a strong package of benefits and perks that reflect our ethos of supporting people, place and planet.
