Open roles

IT Manager

This is a hands-on IT Manager role where you’ll take ownership of the systems that underpin how our people work every day. You’ll combine strategic oversight with practical delivery, ensuring our technology is secure, reliable and genuinely supports the business as we scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and administer core platforms including Microsoft 365, HR and finance systems.
  • Manage system configuration, integrations, vendors, and full platform lifecycle.
  • Negotiate and manage IT contracts, licences, renewals, and service performance.
  • Deliver responsive, customer-focused technical support (remote and on-site), escalating to third parties as needed.
  • Support security, compliance, and audits (GDPR, Cyber Essentials, ISO27001), and contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Partner with teams across the business to understand needs and recommend effective technology solutions.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in an IT Manager, Senior IT Support, or IT Operations role.
  • Strong knowledge of business systems in particular Microsoft 365.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers, budgets, and service delivery.
  • Confident, pragmatic troubleshooter with a calm approach.
  • Good understanding of cyber security, risk, and compliance.
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset.

Marketing Development Representative (MDR)

We’re looking for a Marketing Development Representative (MDR) to sit at the heart of our marketing and sales function, owning the first human touchpoint for people who have already shown interest in Social Value Portal.

This is not a cold-calling role. You’ll be working with inbound leads - people who have downloaded content, attended events or actively raised their hand - ensuring they are contacted promptly, thoughtfully and professionally, and booked into discovery calls with the right sales colleagues.

It’s a great opportunity for someone early in their commercial career who enjoys speaking to people, values quality over volume, and wants exposure to both marketing and sales in a fast-growing, purpose-led organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for inbound leads from marketing campaigns, content and events

  • Qualifying interest against clear criteria and booking discovery calls into sales diaries

  • Managing MQL Outreach sequences to ensure timely, relevant follow-up

  • Keeping CRM data accurate and well-maintained so marketing and sales can work effectively together

  • Collaborating closely with sales to ensure smooth handovers and shared pipeline goals

  • Feeding insights back to marketing on lead quality, messaging and campaign performance

  • Supporting webinar and event follow-up activity

You’ll have ownership of this process, with support from experienced marketing and sales leaders - and the space to develop confidence, autonomy and commercial judgement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Around 1–2 years’ experience in a related role (MDR, SDR, BDR, Marketing Assistant, Sales Ops or similar)

  • Someone personable, confident and comfortable engaging people by email, LinkedIn and phone

  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, particularly when working with CRM systems and sequences

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership

  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach.io or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is helpful but not essential - we care more about attitude, curiosity and potential.
